Don’t use vitamin C with certain other ingredients.

Its doesn’t play well with other kids at all. Trying to fight acne and clearing acne makers is not a good idea. The skincare ingredient that you should not mix with vitamins c is benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl is very much used in the acne war but never mix it with Vitamin C.

Here is why

Benzoyl peroxide can oxidize the vitamin C and, therefore, make it less potent. You can still use your benzoyl peroxide products, just not in the same part of your routine as vitamin C.Try using vitamin C in the morning and benzoyl peroxide in the evenings, or use them on different days.

Use vitamin C serums in the morning.

Vitamin c should be part of your morning skincare routine. You can still use it at night but is a morning person. Reason being vitamin C products should be applied in the morning before heading out for the day, when UV radiation is at its highest.

But

When vitamin C becomes exposed to light it becomes less effective, so it’s important to give it time to absorb into your skin before going outside.

concentration,concentration,concentration

Use the right concentration vitamin C for your skin type and concerns.

Its the tricky part of understanding actives.
