Advice I’d Tell My Younger Self

04. 06. 2020

Am in my 30’s now my younger self would be married and have had two kids by now. It’s not the case am not married or in any relationship. One thing about life is so unpredictable. If you had told me last year we would be going through an actual pandemic I wouldn’t believe you.

The world had slowed down and this downtime it’s perfect to reflect. We are halfway in this uncertain year 2020 it’s like a dream. During this lock-down, I have been really thinking about where I am in my life and where I would like to head. In this post, I would tell my younger self advice …look at this as you looking into my journal.

To My Younger Self.{21 Years }

  • Life is not what you think it’s going to be.
  • First yes you will answer your calling and you will be fine…I know you are scared but its a part of you that you will love the most. You will see the world so differently.
  • Trust your gut more it will help you make fewer mistakes.
  • Be more kind to yourself. & Believe in yourself more
  • Not everyone will like you.
  • You won’t be married with kids by 25 and it’s fine.
  • Stop self-sabotaging your relationships it’s not the guy that broke your heart.
  • Listen to your mom more ….she is always right.
  • Your sister is your best friend { I know right lol).
  • Your body is goals stop thinking you need to be on a diet.

There is a lot I would tell me younger self but those are the first pieces of advice I thought of ant 3am in the morning because that when I write. Now in my 30’s I have a lot that I have to work on in terms of understanding myself. I have seen a lot of growth in the past 5 years or so. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.
