Deleting Some Social Media Platforms
Over the years I felt so drained by the many things I needed to do in order to fit in as a blogger \ influencer. Social media can be a lot at times and me listening to Seth Godin had made me want to take action on my ideas.
I always love the point that you can be different. But in the world of social media everyone looks and sounds the same. There was a point when everyone had that brown red IG feed…lol I was so close to getting on the bandwagon.
They were twitter fights about Lightroom presets. But none the less I just wanted to tell you what am thinking of doing in June.
Stick to what you know and I know what am good at and Twitter and Facebook are social media platforms I spend too must time on. Time wasted and not so good at. I have decided to not be active for the rest of the year on Twitter and Facebook. I won’t delete my accounts I will just pretend I lost the passwords. Am going on what Seth has said. That really made me think. Don’t become a wandering generality. Be a meaningful specific.-Zig Ziglar
Since we have been on lockdown I have really started working on my Blog, Instagram, Youtube and Pinterest. Actively trying to get these platforms going. It has been a challenge. Having a million social media platforms just because its seen as required is not working for me.
And o TikTok needs its own blog post. Am working on it.
You might think it’s going to hurt my growth. That’s fine I will wait I have been for 5 years. But creating different types of content fr each platform is crazy to me. I will be sticking to what comes more natural to me.
