How To A Influencer In 2020

It’s the year 2020 and anyone can be an influencer..just take a couple of good pictures and post them on Instagram and there you have it. I wish it was that simple but it’s not. Since I have been in this industry that cant be studied for things have become more and more difficult.

I’m mean anyone can start a blog and write and try to crack the SEO monster but how many do actually succeed? It’s not the easiest industry to be in it is all trial and error. Thee most successful bloggers have found what works for them and us their followers might think they have the formula but in actual fact its years of trial and error.

I might not be the most successful blogger but I have been in this cut-throat industry long enough to know what methods won’t help you.

How To Be An Influencer

Don’t think about the money in the beginning. Yes I know that’s not what you want to hear but it will lead to a lot of problems. What you need to focus on is building your brand. Trust is an element that is not talked about enough in the industry. It is what will get you the bags down the line. So focus on building it.

The less you care about the engagement the better. You will lose your mind trying to please Instagram. Post what you want when you want..your audience will find you. If you can look at my IG it doesn’t look like a ‘blogger Instagram account ‘and it’s the happiest I have been with my account. I have become more creative since I didn’t mind what people thought about my account. On that …you need to not care about what people say about you and create content that makes you happy.

The only thing you should be copying from your favourite bloggers is their constancy and work ethic. That is the only common factor in all success stories really. Not how they edit the videos or pictures and smile on camera. Everything else it’s them and you cant be them ..you can only be you. I personly for years been trying to look and sound like my favourite and that hasn’t helped me much. You cant be influenced to the point you don’t like any content you create because it doesn’t look like that blogger you admire so much.

Set yourself rules because it will be hard keeping up with everything trust me. The rule that seems to work for me is to create more content then I consume. It might be nice to sit on youtube the whole day but I limit myself as to how long I consume content and I feel much happier.

But enjoy yourself ..and don’t kill yourself for the likes, please.
