Revlon Candid Foundation Review

The mother in drug store makeup in my opinion so classic and timeless. You can never go wrong in with a Revlon foundation. It has been a while since Iv used any of my the Revlon foundations I have. It’s not that I don’t like them anymore but with my skin acting the fool. I have been partially picky in my foundation choices in recent months.

Any way …It is my honour the introduce the Revlon Candid Foundation, Now this baby right here really shocked me in a good way. First time I saw it was when I was doing my regurer rounds in Dis -chem {dont judge me please}.

I did want to buy it initially Revlon has been lunching a lot of makeup late lately. In the space of 6-8 months, they have released three foundations.  The ColorStayFullCover Foundation, Revlon PhotoReady Insta Filter Foundation the Candid.

I sort of missed the boat in getting to try the Color Stay Full Cover foundation. To be quite honest I just didn’t think it would do anything my current foundations I had could. When I decided on getting the Candid was to see if it could measure up to my unrealistic expectations when it came to foundations.

I mean Revlon is not the most adventures makeup brands out there. There stay in their line.

With 31 shades you are sure to find a shade. Am still not sure if you can get all of these shades here in South Africa. Finding a shade it was not an easy task. Between Pecan and Moka YES .. Pecan and Moka …Pecan looked so yummy in all its yellowness and Moka was my shade. So to cut the story short I went for Moka. Watch my video to see the demo.

  • What’s in anti-pollution, antioxidant, anti-blue light ingredients
  • What’s out: oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes and fragrances
  • A creamy texture that goes on like a moisturizer then blends invisibly to even out skin tone weightlessly
  • 31 skin tone matching shades
  • Premium pump packaging
  • Medium buildable coverage, natural finish
  • Keeps skin feeling moisturized all-day

Never thought I would say this my the natural finish but yet buildable coverage is by my favourite thing about this foundation. The pump aids the perfect amount but the foundation will not last me as long as my other babies. At R125 it’s the sweet spot the most affordable foundation from the brand.

I do see myself purchasing this foundation again.

Whats shade are you?
