There are many factors that make a product regraded as a dupe. I mean there are many makeup dupes I can go on and on but in skincare, they do exist but very difficult to find.
Am a South African beauty blogger and ever since I struggled with my skin when I would watch skincare channels here on Youtube they would suggest products that I will have to wait for weeks on end to get them.
These dupes that you’ve seen in this post are products you can get from Dis-chem or Clicks. Mainly my skincare videos I would like them to have products that can be found in South Africa. It was very difficult to find these dupes but I did.
First on the list is the
One of my favorite makeup removers…They both have water and glycerin, which hydrate the skin. They are alcohol, fragrance and oil-free. However, the Bioderma has cucumber extracts which are an amazing addition. Cucumber contains ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and caffeic acid, which reduces swelling and skin irritations. At the end they both remove makeup. Its all about what works better for your pocket.
With all the results that I have to do these two are not true dupes. I say this because they don’t cater to the same skin type. A product is regarded as a dupe if you can buy a cheaper product and get the same or simpler results. But there is the ideal skin type for each one. While the Water Gel is ideal for normal/dry skin, the Hydrator is ideal for very dry/combination skin. They are regarded as a dupe because they are Hydrating Moisturisers.
Between these two there are a lot of blogs that regard them as dupes but some don’t think they are not. With all the information that I have gathered both marks leave you with the same result. Both masks were charcoal masks they contain different ingredients. The Glamglow mask The product is made with active charcoal and literally pulls all the sebum, gunk and dirk out of your pores leaving your skin glowing and fresh looking for your foundation application. The L’Oreal’s Pure-Clay Detox & Brighten mask is an excellent substitute. Made with charcoal, it pulls all the dirt and blockages. So they are dupes because they give you the same result.
What a difference in prices this is one of the best dupes yes …well because of the prices. These hydrating gel creams contain hyaluronic acid and are super lightweight, making them perfect for oily or acne-prone skin. The Neutrogena dupe is also non-comedogenic, which means it won’t block your pores. It’s a good option when you don’t have money.
Hope you found this post helpful.Which dupes did you find helpful.?
