Skin Care Update

I haven’t been very vocal about my skincare journey here on my blog.
I have had too many breaks out too much to count really. But my skin is currently clean. break out free.
I don’t know what to owe this peaceful time of having a clear skin too.
Maybe all the skincare loves lockdown or me staying away from dairy has paid off.

My skin is a hot topic among my Youtube subscribers. They love it when I touch anything skincare.
I thought I would write a blog post to update you guys on my skin.

So first Skin Type.

I should go get my skin checked but combination babe is where am at. Combination skin is simply having oily skin in some areas of your face and dry skin in other areas. Typically, there’s a mix of oily and dry areas on different parts of your face, with the t-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) being slight to very oily. With an acne skin care problem.
My acne is hormonal ..so it trigged by stress. The way the skin problem develops in response to hormonal changes, and especially a rise in androgens, such as testosterone. You will find my pimples on my jawline.

Treatments

If I had a middle name it would be salicylic acid. Am currently using products that have actives that help to clear my pores. There are a lot of actives that are available. It’s just the one that really works for me is the salicylic acid. Vitamin A is highly recommended for patients with acne-prone skin. This is because vitamin A is a very effective antioxidant that minimizes the amount of oil the skin produces. The supplements Icurrely take is skincare nutrition.

I have talked a lot about these skincare pills on my Youtube channel. It’s just that you cant find them other the here in South Africa. I took a lot of supplement in the two years some worked…when some just made matters worst.

When it comes to the products I really heavily rely on the African Extract Range. This range is my everyday skincare products. They try to maintain my skin, I just don’t use this range when am currently going thought a breakout. I do a skincare emergency skincare routine. In that video, I go thought all the products I use and why.

In a nutshell, my skin is a working progress. I will have to work on it every day to keep it looking good. I have had so many times when my skin would break out because of pure negligences. I hope my post would beige about information as how I manged my acne over the pasted two years.
